At the Echo Hotel, we enjoy customizing parties and group functions
of all sizes, and offer an array of services that will suit the
specific needs of any event. The Echo is the ideal location, (being
a central location in the Rio Grande Valley) for rehearsal dinners,
wedding ceremonies and receptions, birthday celebrations, anniversary
dinners, corporate events, employee parties, awards dinners…any
occasion.
Our
Director of Sales and Special Events, will be able to assist you
with details regarding menus, prices and space availability for
all private parties and meetings. For those who wish to inquire

Room
Capacity
The Echo Hotel is pleased to host both small groups and large events
of up to 800 people. Check our room capacity
chart for more information on seating arrangements & specific
room capacity.

Chef Arnold Yañez cuisine can be tailored to your preference. Read

Catering
We have a very talented staff, and we will work with our clients
to find a menu that works best for your function. Outside food or
beverages will not be allowed into the restaurant or banquet rooms.
All
food, beverage, set-up fees and incidentals are subject to our 19%
service charge, and tax rate of 8.25%.
Liquor
Absolutely no alcoholic beverages may be brought into the hotel
premises. Management reserves the right to expel violators.
Services
We are available to assist you with your function needs. We do not
have a wedding coordinator, however, our Director of Sales and Special
Events will work with you or your coordinator to assist you with
your event needs.
Curfew
The Echo Hotel requires that all events must end by 12am. Late fee
will apply for overtime at a rate of $150.00 per hour.
Guarantee
A guarantee of attendance is due 72 hours in advance of the scheduled
group function. If we are not advised of a guaranteed count, the
tentative number of guests will become the guaranteed count. No-shows
on a guaranteed count are charged full price of set menu.
Advance
Deposits
An advance deposit is required to hold reservation for any of our
sites. Only receipt of deposit will confirm definite space and date.
An additional deposit equal to 25% of the expected event total cost
is required and must be received no less than 30 days prior to the
event.
Cancellations
Cancellations prior to 30 days of event will receive a refund of
deposits, less $50.00. Within 30 days of function, all deposits
are non refundable.
